Fournier blames himself after the game: we got beat hard

On August 25, 2023, the French Men's Basketball Team lost to the Canadian Men's Basketball Team 65-95 in the Men's Basketball World Cup Group H group stage.

After the game, France player Fournier attended the press conference. Speaking about the loss, Fournier said "We were beaten badly. This game was one of the worst games we've played all year. We were not prepared and paid the price.

Fournier was France's leading scorer in the game, playing 33 minutes, hitting 8 of 19 field goals, 3 of 13 three-pointers and 2 of 4 free throws for 21 points (19 in the first half), 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.

Fournier said he was happy with his performance, but that he can't be blamed for the loss. He believes the entire team needs to be held accountable.

"We need to reflect," Fournier said, "and we have to adjust as soon as possible to be ready for the next games." Are you looking for the ideal gift that shows you care?
