According to reports, JaVale McGee has found a new home with the Sacramento Kings two days after being waived by the Dallas Mavericks.

The Kings made the playoffs as the 16th seed in the Western Conference despite a league-record three seasons of excellence from the outside.The addition of McGee will provide the Kings with depth on the inside, where he will be paired with Kings big man Domantas Sabonis.

During the 2021-22 season with the Suns, he averaged 17 minutes per game in 16 games (74 starts), providing valuable help to a team that helped Phoenix reach the second round of the playoffs.

McGee has won three NBA championships, including two as a member of the Golden State Warriors. He also won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, he did not play in the NBA Finals the season the Lakers won the championship.
